Heavy bass, check. Smoke machines, check. Multi-projector visual experience, check. The stage was set last night perfectly as the doors opened at Shoreditch’s #adidasunderground for a special Volt Magazine Party. A scene that would make any passerby jealous they weren’t in the door queue already, the occasion kicked off to a fully stocked house. Throughout the night, the multidimensional visuals would play host to special screenings of Mark James‘ This Dull Ache film as well as a visual barrage by Night Customer (Joel Martin & Gareth ‘Cherrystones’ Goddard) and a Joost Vandebrug special film screening.
The space, which had formerly been home to the first two nights’ events of a different breed, seemed to hit a surprising stride as its duality welcomed a range of Shoreditch’s tastemakers into an immersive environment that was as welcoming as it was energetic. With no shortage of drinks and rock-paper-scissors dueling from celebrity chef, John Quilter, we can’t wait to see what the impending Chemical Brothers’ film screening DON’T THINK will have in store today. Also check out the gallery from the Volt Magazine event here.
Additionally, we’re giving away five pairs of tickets to tonight’s London screening of The Chemical Brothers’ DON’T THINK. Enter here.
