Paying homage to the artist’s visual motifs and heavily inspired by the surrealist aesthetic of psychological thriller Mulholland Drive (2001), filmmaker Luke Gilford presents this short film in honor of the newly designed Dom Perignon champagne bottles from David Lynch. Recently launched in Los Angeles at an exclusive party featuring guests like Bret Easton Ellis, Bill Viola and Shannyn Sossamon, alongside a DJ set by Diplo and live performance from The Kills, the collaboration includes Lynch’s interpretations of the labels of both the Vintage 2003 and Rosé 2000 bottles. Highlighted in Gilford’s video tribute, footage from the LA launch is interspersed alongside an interview with Lynch himself and a detailed look at the designs.
