Ahead of its release later this fall, it has been revealed that NBA 2K13 will be executive produced by none other than Jay-Z. While the exact extent of Mr. Carter’s involvement is unknown, the latest trailer for the 2K Sports basketball game is set to the Just Blaze-produced classic “Public Service Announcement” from The Black Album and features a voice over from “His Airness,” Michael Jordan, alongside visual accompaniment of Jordan’s digital self with additional in-game footage of Derrick Rose, Blake Griffin and reigning scoring champ Kevin Durant. NBA 2K13 is due out for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Wii U, Wii and Microsoft Windows on October 2, 2012.
