Beat Junkies – For The Record

Turntable artisans the Beat Junkies, consisting of members J Rocc, DJ Babu, D-Styles, DJ Rhettmatic, DJ What?!, Mr. Choc, Icy Ice, Curse, DJ Shortkut, Melo-D, Symphony and DJ Havik celebrated their 20th anniversary this past weekend with a show to remind fans of how far they’ve come along in the last two decades. Coinciding with that event comes a documentary about the legendary collective courtesy of streetwear label LRG titled For The Record, paying testament to the group since their inception in 1992 and their workings with other turntable specialists including Q Bert, A-Trak, DJ Jazzy Jeff and Peanut Butter Wolf. Watch the 15-minute clip above and Beat Junkies are set to embark on an international tour spanning the U.S., Europe and Asia, of which dates are set to be announced soon.
