UNDERCOVER 2012 Fall/Winter "PSYCHO COLOR" Collection Preview

This past weekend saw Nagoya-based premier fashion retailer DOUBLEDUTCH hold a special preview event highlighting select items from the upcoming UNDERCOVER 2012 fall/winter “PSYCHO COLOR” collection. Under the guidance of the UNDERCOVER “nagoya” team, the show gave visitors a chance to have a hands-on look at many of the new pieces set to release. Once again, leather jackets will play a major part in the season, with plenty of different designs on display including several versions of the UNDERCOVER classic riders jacket. Besides leather, lead designer Jun Takahashi has additionally utilized wools, suedes, cottons, silks, and velvets as both base materials and to help accentuate design features. Printed patterns are also featured heavily, appearing on everything from T-shirts to knitwear with iterations ranging from the standard picture or text graphic to a rather superb looking fur-effect print. Shoe lovers are catered for with a selection of new creations along with the usual UNDERCOVER sneakers models, all containing some exquisite yet minimal touches. Finally, a large choice of accessories were on show, with sunglasses, intricately detailed silver jewelry, pouches and scarfs all exhibited. To help celebrate this special occasion, a special limited edition UNDERCOVER “PSYCHO COLOR” T-shirt was created and made available to buy at the show.
