By blending a dark base palette of black, navy and various browns with contrasting shocking pinks, electric blues and sunburst yellows, Lanvin’s Lucas Ossendrijver manages to impose his latest designs for the 2012 spring/summer collection on this photoshoot for popular Japanese fashion magazine, SENSE. Subtle touches, such as the one-strap buttoned blazer and knit-effect printed sweater vest, have been applied to the classically tailored pieces, giving them a unique and modern quality. Although a slim-cut runs throughout most of the collection, an occasional oversized top or jacket has been inserted to help bring a small amount of balance to the line.
