New York City-bred, Los Angeles-based artist Methamphibian has teamed up with The Hundreds to create the limited edition Hoya sneaker – the latest offering from the brand’s Red Box series. Emphasizing the late ’80s and early ’90s roots of the two parties, the distinctly retro silhouette harkens back to the sneakers of old while sporting Methamphibian’s familiar customization throughout. With a comfortable interior mesh sleeve, the shoe offers a TPU body cage for additional support alongside TPU heel stabilization, a molded EVA midsole, and a flexible patterned rubber outsole. Limited to only 100 pairs worldwide, the collaborative Hoya will be available online from The Hundreds and from Livestock in Toronto and Vancouver, 5Pointz in Bristol, FreshCotton in Amsterdam and Caliroots in Stockholm beginning Wednesday, June 27.
