ayame i wear design has a unique 2012 eyewear collection of classic Ray Ban-inspired Wayfarer silhouettes, each mocked up in a unique colorway iteration. Instead of acetate, these frames are made of celluloid which produces a much more rich gloss, depth, and a more stunning appearance. Celluloid is an early plastic that could be dyed and molded to resemble an animal horn or tortoiseshell. We like the tortoiseshell looks. These sunglasses are made in Japan and they each cost ¥29,400 JPY (approximately $371 USD).
