Alex Wiley, Scheme, Thelonius Martin & Big Once - Game Face

With artists like Chief Keef, King Louis and Lil Reese making noise online and signing major record deals with Interscope, Epic and Def Jam, respectively, there’s no doubt that there’s a strong force of young hip-hop coming out of Chicago right now. Website Ruby Hornet has been known to put on for its city in major ways, and one of those is by showcasing the up-and-coming talent emerging from it. For the latest installment of the site’s ‘Closed Sessions’ series, two of Chicago’s brightest rappers-on-the-rise, Alex Wiley and Scheme, were brought together with producer Thelonius Martin and DJ Big Once to create an all-original track.
