One of Japan’s longest standing anime series, Neon Genesis Evangelion is the source of inspiration for the latest RADIO EVA x FUGAHUM Evangelion 150 Parka Sweatshirt. For the collaboration, the online retailer RADIO EVA tap designer Akiyoshi Mishima, the man behind the brand, FUGAHUM, to appropriate his own contemporary fashion take on the iconic Japanese franchise. Pulling elements from Evangelion‘s Magi computer system, the 150 Parka Sweatshirt manages to balance contemporary fashion elements and street sensibilities while infusing it with tenants from both Evangelion characters Rei Ayanami and Asuka Langley Soryu. Along with the inclusion of recognizable colors from both characters, Mishima also emblazoned the back of the 150 Parka with the cross explosion – yet another quintessential element to the often religion-enthralled series. Priced at ¥48,300 JPY (approximately $603 USD), availability is now offered through the RADIO EVA online store.
