It was no coincidence that Animal Collective surprised us with two new tracks recently. The band has now officially announced the follow up to 2009′s Merriweather Post Pavilion by posting a video on their website. The viral states Centipede Hz will be released in September via Domino Records. Although it is subject to speculation at this point, the clip shows a number of potential song titles, like “Moonjock,” “Today’s Supernatural,” “Rosie Oh,” “Applesauce,” “Wide Eyed,” “Father Time,” “New Town Burnout,” “Monkey Riches,” “Mercury Man,” “Pulleys” and “Amanita.” Listen to two new Animal Collective songs, “Honeycomb” and “Gotham,” here.
