Poliça - Wandering Star

Since releasing their debut album, Give You The Ghost, last December, Minneapolis-based band Poliça has rapidly become one of the most buzzed-about indie acts out. Lead by vocalist Channy Leaneagh, she and her backing musicians have received acclaim from some of the biggest critics and a major stamp of approval from Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon for their psychedelic, autotune-laced, hard to define sound. As Poliça gears up for some extensive touring that will span most of the remainder of this year, the music video for one of their standout tracks, “Wandering Star,” has been released. Through fluid interpretive dancing and body painting, Leaneagh’s poignant vocals are brought to life in this piece.
