Pete Rock Wanted to Help Lupe Fiasco with "Around My Way"

With the hip-hop community in an awkward place stemming from the situation surrounding Lupe Fiasco’s “Around My Way” single and Pete Rock, MTV sat down with legendary hip-hop producer to discuss the situation. Pete admits that his original comments first sent out via his Twitter were expressed while his emotions got the best of him, which are now responsible for the matter at hand. He also goes on to add that he was under the impression that he was going to get involved in the studio working on Lupe’s single, which he was not, but he wants to work things out with Lu.
