Parra x Kidrobot 'Pierced' Figure

Prolific Dutch artist Parra collaborates with Paul Budnitz’s Kidrobot in this exceptional limited edition set of 300 pieces. Pierced is a 10-inch tall vinyl piece based on an original silkscreen painting by the Dutch master. With signature post-pop hues and imagery recalling many a Fabio-graced romance novel cover, the figurine depicts two entwined lovers suspended in a dramatic circular dance compounding both pleasure and pain. The piece decidedly has no front or back, and its infinite angles juxtaposed by matte and gloss finishing touches tell a number of varying tales. Set to retail at $150 USD, these will be released on June 7 at Kidrobot stores, Kidrobot.com, and selected shops globally.
