Aloe Blaac x adidas Consortium "Your Story" Collection Decade Hi Further Look

In classic Olympic five-ringed fashion, the adidas Consortium project celebrates this year’s games with “Your Story” –- a limited edition capsule collection in collaboration with Jim Thompson, DJ Muro, Quote, Kate Moross and Stones Throw artist Aloe Blacc. The American rapper’s take on these 1984 Decade Hi basketball court classics remembers Ethiopian two-time Olympic gold medalist and marathon runner Abebe Bikila, whose barefoot running inspires Blacc’s translucent gum outsole. The oxblood premium leather uppers recall fertile African soil while Blacc’s signature sunglasses and bow tie logo sits on the inside of the tongue loop tag.
