No Doubt announce new album

It sure has been a long time coming but No Doubt have officially announced a new album to drop on September 25. The LP also marks the group’s first since 2001’s Rock Steady. The band posted a short video featuring the announcement, full of studio applause and sound effects, but didn’t share a title for the new release. The band further wrote on their website:

“Thank you all so much for your support over the last 25 years. We’re really proud of our new album and we hope you love it as much as we do.”

There will be “plenty of photos and webisodes as we go” ib the coming months. Addiitional to the band’s impressive catalog of hits, frontwoman Gwen Stefani held down the fort woth two solo albums until the band returned to touring in 2009.
