Just Friends (Nicolas Jaar & Sasha Spielberg) – Avalanche (Leonard Cohen Cover)

Minimalist producer, Nicolas Jaar, has reinvigorated Leonard Cohen’s 1971 classic “Avalanche” to a new electronic frontier. The 22-year-old American-Chilean, who is still studying comparative literature at Brown University, recruits the vocal services of Sasha Spielberg (yes, Stephen’s daughter) for the Just Friends project. It’s not the first time Jaar has worked with Hollywood A-lister’s children, having made “With Just One Glance” alongside Scout Larue, the product of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore.
