Herman Miller Taps Students to Rethink Privacy in Furniture Design

Furniture masters Herman Miller – long known for their progressive ideology in collaboration with other visionaries like the Eames – proudly perpetuate the spirit of radical ingenuity in modern design. The Michigan manufacturers have recruited a group of industrial design students to tackle some of the most practical issues encountered in office spaces today. Several designs were chosen to be prototyped as seen here. Injecting privacy into the open-plan office and increasing work-life balance, these are challenges we can hope to overcome with furniture design now, thanks to Herman Miller’s problem-solving design philosophy.
