One of the most popular groups of the late ’90s and early ’00s, Dave Matthews Band is back, prepping their upcoming album. Here we have the first delivery from the new project with a track titled “Gaucho.” The soulful number features the accustomed acoustic instrumentation, while also being horn driven in the backdrop. The guys then make good use of an electric guitar riff or two, which is somewhat unlikely from the Virgina act. Towards the end of the piece, a children’s choir sings in accompaniment, as it all equates to a predictably solid single from Dave and company.
