Andrew Miller’s Brand Spirit project finds the visual artist painting a recognizable object white – thus stripping it of it’s highly recognizable traits and reducing the piece to its simplest form. With 100 days and 100 different purchased objects less than $10 USD in price, pieces like Darth Vader’s helmet, a Rubik’s Cube, Lego’s and a host of other objects synonymous with pop culture relevance are all whitewashed.
