Taking a look at another expertly crafted Bamford Watch Department timepiece, the watch purveyors looks to the Rolex Explorer II for its latest customization. To truly put the quality of the unique finish of the Bamford Rolex Explorer II to the test, the collective sent out one of its black-coated Explorer II models to Afghanistan on the wrist of a member of the British Army for a six month tour. Following the duration of the tour, the watch came back affirming the durability of the finish; fully intact effectively withstanding the weathering of the battle field. The unique package pairs the all black coated case alongside a military green strap with brushed metal hardware and a Bamford Watch Department emblazoned metal box. The California Dial boasts the recognizable inverted triangle at the 12-hour as well as dashes signifying the 3-6-9-hours.
