To truly put the quality of the unique finish of the Bamford Rolex Explorer II to the test, the collective sent out one of its black-coated Explorer II models to Afghanistan on the wrist of a member of the British Army for a six month tour. Following the duration of the tour, the watch came back affirming the durability of the finish; fully intact effectively withstanding the weathering of the battle field. The unique package pairs the all black coated case alongside a military green strap with brushed metal hardware and a Bamford Watch Department emblazoned metal box. The California Dial boasts the recognizable inverted triangle at the 12-hour as well as dashes signifying the 3-6-9-hours.
