The younger generations of today’s skaters might not recognize Mati Klarwein‘s classic “Bitches Brew” artwork, or be familiar with the work of jazz legend Miles Davis, but that doesn’t make this series of decks from Western Edition Skateboarding any less iconic. Reviving the classic 30-year-old artwork is Klarwein’s son Balthazar, a renowned skater in his own right. The “Bitches Brew” collection features four skate decks, which cohesively form the album art from one of Davis’ most iconic albums. The collection is limited to 100 sets of four decks each, and is a part of Western Edition’s Spring/Summer 2012 line. It should already be available at the label’s stockists worldwide, such as FTC San Francisco.
