The arguably busiest music day of the year so far continues as Linkin Park has unleashed their brand new single from their fifth studio album Living Things. Titled “Burn It Down,” this marks a return to more familiar sounds from the band and perfectly foreshadows the sound of the upcoming long-player. According to lead singer Chester Bennington, Living Things will feature less experimentation than their previous release A Thousand Suns:

“With this album, we’ve incorporated a lot of guitar work with big choruses and the heavier electronic stuff to give it that really big wall of sound feeling without getting too metal. This will be more familiar to people than ‘A Thousand Suns’ was, where we were like ‘Fuck it, we’re just going to go bonkers.”

Watch the lyric video above and mark your calendars as Living Things is set to arrive on June 26.
