HBO: The Newsroom Series Trailer

Premiering this summer is the latest original series from HBO, The Newsroom. Marking screenwriter Aaron Sorkin’s return to television following his work on The Social Network and Moneyball, the creator of The West Wing has come up with a drama chronicling the behind-the-scenes events of a fictional cable news network. Starring Jeff Daniels as news anchor Will McAvoy, the ensemble cast also includes Emily Mortimer, Alison Pill, John Gallagher, Jr., Olivia Munn, Dev Patel, Thomas Sadoski and Charlie Skinner. Jane Fonda also appears in a recurring role as the CEO of the network’s parent company. Produced by Scott Rudin and Alan Poul, The Newsroom will premiere on June 24, 2012.
