Essentials: Amandine Romero

Known for an extensive coalition of French electric house artists, Ed Banger Records has been a force within the music industry over the past decade or so. Comprised of internationally renowned musicians like Justice, Cassius, Uffie, So Me, Mickey Moonlight and more, founder Pedro Winter – aka Busy P – has brought Ed Banger to unimaginable heights with chart-topping records, award-winning videos and streetwear collaborations. A name that doesn’t get enough credit for the successful rise of the French eclectic label, is Parisian mastermind Amandine Romero. Although you won’t see this lovely creative behind the wheels during a mind-numbing show, she does however go by the name Miss Ed Banger helping Pedro run the always evolving brand. While in Los Angeles, where her label is hosting a Coachella party alongside Stussy, Romero sat down with HYPEBEAST to showcase her Essentials. Spilling the contents of her pockets, we find a modest collection including Ed Banger Records headphones by WeSC, music from her labelmates, a Pez dispenser, a Fafi x adidas Mini Suitcase, and more.
