Initially debuting with a display at Art Basel in June of 2011, today marks the launch of the G-Star RAW for Vitra Prouve RAW Furniture Collection. A reinterpretation of a number of pieces designed by French modernist Jean Prouve, the collection includes nine of the 17 pieces seen on display at Art Basel as well as the Antony chair – one of the late Prouve’s final designs. The collection also includes two additional designs, the Fauteuil de Salon and Compas Direction — each previously unseen. Unveiled today at Milan’s Salone del Mobile, the RAW Furniture Collection is now available in a limited, numbered edition.
