Deadmau5 - "Fn Pig" & "Closer"

Deadmau5 hits us with a double-salvo of tracks in 24 hours via his “fuckmylife” SoundCloud account. The first track “Fn Pig,” which the Canadian producer/DJ has tagged as “Pigstep” (in jest, obviously) is a nine-minute journey starting off slow and mellow and building up into an uptempo head-nodding rave anthem. The second release, “Closer” is actually a revision of a previous upload and although it’s also upbeat, it’s a bit more progressive than “Fn Pig.” The “Closer” title refers to Steven Spielberg’s film Close Encounters of the Third Kind, to which synths from that picture start the track off.
