With the pixel being the smallest unit of a film image that can be displayed and manipulated, it’s fitting that one state-of-the-art theater in Wuhan, China has utilized the miniscule square as inspiration for its entire facility. The 8835-sqm Pixel Box Cinema is filled with square shapes throughout the building, adorning everything from the floors, walls, and ceilings to the bathrooms and display units in the bookshop. The theaters themselves are even inspired by Tetris while the grand hall features a space of more than 6000 reflective stainless steel panels. Created in conjunction with One Plus Partnership limited, the Wuhan Pixel Box Cinema is now open.
