Since opening its doors two years ago in SoHo, The IMPOSSIBLE PROJECT Space NYC has become the group’s flagship store in the U.S. Rising from the ashes of Polaroid’s withdrawal from the analog instant film market, the Impossible staff has kept the medium alive and well in lower Manhattan. Set to open at the end of this month is a special exhibition celebrating their talents. Titled “WORK IN PROGRESS,” the presentation will showcase film works from a large range including Kisha Bari, Dave Bias, Anne Bowerman, Jon Campolo, Michelle Casper, Andrew Chugg, Kyle Depew, Josie Keefe, Frank Love, Abigail Smithson, Wendy Strauss, Patrick Tobin and George Weiss. WORK IN PROGRESS will be open to the public during the store’s normal hours from March 29 to May 8 with a special opening reception set to take place on Thursday, March 29, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
