NIGO will always be known as the man behind A Bathing Ape, but with that relationship almost at an end his new brand, HUMAN MADE, continues to gather momentum. This editorial, featuring Kishidan front man Ayanokoji Sho, throws a spotlight on some of the pieces from the current 2012 spring/summer collection, with subtle militaristic and Americana influences throughout. Approaching this new line from a “making clothes that I want to wear” point of view, NIGO seems happy where he is now. You never know, he may even start smiling.
