Tenacious D - To Be The Best

Since the release of their 2006 film Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny, Jack Black and Kyle Gass have remained out of the recording studio and out of the music scene in general. This new short film parodies their activities over the last six years, and tells a tale of redemption in their quest to reascend to the glory they once had. Ultimately, the clip offers a brief new track from “The D,” entitled “To Be The Best,” as well as a hint of what to expect from their new album, Rize of the Fenix, which is set to be released May 15, 2012.
