One of Japan’s oldest and most iconic footwear manufacturers, Onitsuka Tiger, is set to release a brand new, pinnacle footwear collection this summer. Meant to celebrate the quality of Japanese manufacturing, the “Nippon Made” collection features premium construction and detailing and consists of some of the brand’s most iconic silhouettes. Consisting of deluxe version of the Mexico 66, Fabre and Tai-Chi, the collection also features a “Harajuku Pack” of sophisticated all-black silhouettes. Limited to 100 pairs of each style, the Onitsuka Tiger Nippon Made collection will be sold exclusively through Barneys New York beginning in June 2012. Retail is set around $300 USD for each design.
