Nike’s Destroyer Jacket has seen a wide array of collaborations and iterations since storming the varsity jacket scene in 2006. Taking shape for its latest sports-driven project, Nike recently joined Amsterdam-based Precinct 5 boutique to debut the latest A.V.E. Destroyer Jacket to a select 111 local art, music, sport and fashion creatives who comprised the New Oranje 111 for Allen Voor Een (“All For One”) in support of the Dutch National Football team. The Destroyer boasts Nike’s premium affinity for leather sleeves and a heavy wool body construction – a pairing that is mocked up in tonal black. The back of the jacket is emblazoned with the “Allen Voor Een” lion patchwork while a chest hit reflects the “A.V.E.” initials alongside the year “2012.”
