It appears that Jay-Z will be immensely active on European soil during the upcoming festival season. Besides adding more dates to the European leg of the ‘Watch the Throne’ tour, the mogul has just been announced as headlining Radio 1′s Hackney Weekend in June. Mr. Carter will be in good company as the likes of Lana Del Rey, Azealia Banks, Chase & Status, Calvin Harris, David Guetta, Deadmau5, Leona Lewis and Swedish House Mafia, Ed Sheeran, Professor Green, Wretch 32, Michael Kiwunaka, D’banj, Dappy, and many more are set to contribute. The annual event takes place in London’s Hackney Marshes this year on Saturday, June 23 and Sunday, June 24.
