Ebbets Field Flannels has been around since 1988, producing throwback sports caps, jackets and jerseys from the professional teams of yesteryear. Unique to the brand is how they use the original fabrics and manufacturing techniques to create a collection that transcends even the most faithful reproduction. For Fall/Winter 2012, Ebbets continues to expand their baseball jacket line, featuring pieces like a felt-lettered jacket from the San Francisco Seals, who historically pre-dated the Giants. But more notably, Ebbets is also recreating vintage caps from historical Japanese and Cuban baseball teams, as well as from several key teams who played in the American Negro League in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Check out the video above that was shot during the recent Jacket Required trade show, as the president of Ebbets, Jerry Cohen tries to contain his enthusiasm for his unique brand as he covers the upcoming line.
