Both video and audio for this mini documentary were captured at a direct-to-disc recording session in The Carvery Studios in Hackney, London in August 2011 during the London Riots. The album version of this track is on the new Quantic & Alice Russell album Look Around The Corner, out April 3 via Tru Thoughts. “I’ll Keep My Light In My Window” is one of Russell’s all-time favorite songs which has scarcely sounded better than in this current incarnation, on which she exercises her famed powers as a classic soul vocalist.
