D-WHY featuring Local Natives - Own Eyes

After posting a status on Facebook asking if he should release a new song, D-WHY’s rapidly growing fanbase spoke up unanimously in huge numbers. As a result of the high demand, the West Virginia native has let loose this new track titled “Own Eyes.” Utilizing the backdrop of indie band Local Native’s similarly titled 2010 single, D-WHY raps, sings, and reflects on love and a lost relationship, taking the guitar-driven ballad and making it his own. The tune will not be included on his long-awaited mixtape, Don’t Flatter Yourself, but he assures fans that the tape is on the way and that the wait will be worth it.
