Releasing April 1 of this year is the second official release chronicling the massive fashion juggernaut in the form of BAPE ARCHIVES by NIGO. In NIGO’s own words, “in 2008 Rizzoli published the official archive book A BATHING APE. If that book, which shows all of the signature pieces, is the “A Side,” this BAPE ARCHIVES by NIGO, whose contents have been selected by me from my perspective as both a maker and a collector, is the “B Side” – a personal, underground archive.” Choosing 108 items from a list in the tens of thousands, this will surely tickle the fancy of all those who hold BAPE so dear in their heart.
