Partnering with one of Japan’s oldest jeans label, Big John, Dutch denim retailer Tenue de Nîmes releases a limited edition pair of Natural Blue Denim. The collaborative makes use of a slim-tapered fit based off of the Big John’s storied M1002 – a style that originated in 1967 from a 14.5 oz denim fabric. Arriving in a unique “Lapis lazuli” indigo, the unique gemstone-based color gives nod to a stone that is considered one of the seven treasures of Buddhism. Tonal leather patchwork makes its way to a customary location along the rear waist, while the navy-colored detail boasts dual branding via the Tenue de Nîmes and Big John embossed logo. Limited to only 24 pairs, the taut collection was crafted in Japan and is now available through the Tenue de Nîmes online store.
