Never shying away from his affinity for heavily layered leathers, Rick Owens introduces the latest Leather Hiking Boot for Spring/Summer 2012. Owens’ unique interpretation on the classic outdoor silhouette, the pair is mocked up with an augmented chic aesthetic via a solitary high top black leather build, laceless construction, and a white rubber outsole. Most notable is the shoe’s elongated tongue that maintains consistency with a range of Owens’ recent footwear iterations. Retaining some degree of the originality of the silhouette, a slightly ribbed outsole provides grip and durability to the otherwise street-styled pair. Crafted in Italy, the Rick Owens Leather Hiking Boot is now offered through ink.
