When Charlie Holmes and the rest of his design team at Nike set out to create an ultra premium, rugby-inspired line of shirts, tops and jackets, there was only one logical place that could provide the level of artisan craftsmanship worthy of Nike’s premium pursuits: Italy. So, like the “Made In Italy” tennis collection that made such a splash at Wimbledon last year, Nike is set to release a followup premium Italian collection, this time, to coincide with the height of rugby’s world cup; the six-nation championship tournament. London’s prestigious Selfridges department store, as well as 1948, Hanon, End and oki-ni are expected to stock the unique line from February 19. For those residing outside of the UK, look for availability at your local NSW dealer.
