Michael Lau 2012 Gardener 108 "I LOVE ZEX" Preview

Wholly inspired by rogue fashion photographer Terry Richardson, Hong Kong toy designer Michael Lau integrated Richardson’s likeness into his Gardener series several years ago. The life-sized format created in association with Diesel back in 2007 for the “From Rio to Hong Kong” exhibition now resurfaces in a smaller format. While the figure in all 12-inches of glory was originally released for Gardener’s 10th anniversary show in Los Angeles three years ago, it will now be available commercially for the first time ever. A release is set for March 1 with a retail price of $699 HKD (approximately $80 USD). Orders can be made via CrazySmiles.com.
