Following the backlash from her SNL performance, a New York Post‘s report indicated that Lana Del Rey would cancel her previously announced spring tour. Spokesman Matt Hanks quickly denied this allegation indicating that there was never any tour in place to cancel or delay. However, SXSW has now confirmed that the Born to Die singer will not perform at the festival. In addition, Ms. Del Rey also postponed her Australian tour dates, set to take place in late February and early March. According to a press release, “Lana is looking forward to her maiden Australian visit and sincerely apologises for any inconvenience caused.”
