On Monday, February 27, MTV will premiere the Venice, Italy-set music video to D-WHY’s “Macchiato Music,” the T-Minus-produced debut single from his upcoming long-awaited mixtape, Don’t Flatter Yourself. But two weeks is too long for fans to wait for new material from the West Virginia-raised, New York City and Los Angeles-based recording artist. Since yesterday was Valentine’s Day, D felt it was only right to spread some love to the fans. To hold them over until “Macchiato Music” makes its big debut, he’s released a brand new track, entitled “I Want The World To Stop.” The song is his own spin on indie band Belle & Sebastian’s track by the same name.
Currently, D-WHY is working on Don’t Flatter Yourself, which is set to to feature production from Hit-Boy, T-Minus, Boi-1da and Dot Da Genius, and guest appearances from the likes of Diggy Simmons. In addition, his lifestyle website, The Cleanest Corner, will be going live sometime in the next couple of weeks. Check out his latest track below and keep your eye out for future releases.
