Continuing its contribution to the world of sneaker/moccasin fusions, Converse Japan releases a Jack Purcell Boat-Moccasin Slip for Spring 2012. Offered in two understated colorways – white and salmon – the shoes retains much of the DNA of the original Jack Purcell silhouette most notable by the shoe’s trademark outsole. Traditional moc-toe stitching begins at the anterior of the silhouette with the boat shoe style trailing throughout via a two eyelet vamp as well as a wide padded ankle opening. Retailing for ¥6,800 JPY (approximately $89 USD), the Converse Japan Jack Purcell Boat-Moccasin Slip will begin hitting select stockists this March.
