Every generation has that band that defines its time, and last night members of two of those bands bridged a near 30-year gap and came together for a good cause. Ex-Beatle Paul McCartney shared the stage with remaining members of Nirvana at the 12-12-12 Concert for Sandy Relief at Madison Square Garden and performed a new song, “Cut Me Some Slack.” The concert, which also featured performances by Alicia Keys, The Who, Kanye West and many others, raised funds for victims of Sandy – the hurricane that caused massive damage throughout the East Coast.
