GRIND: Tokyo Creators Wear HUMAN MADE

To help highlight some of the garments from NIGO’s latest HUMAN MADE collection, GRIND magazine has enlisted the help of some well-known names in the Japanese fashion industry. Nicknamed the “Tokyo Creators,” the group includes designers, musicians and stylists all recognized as contributors to the current Tokyo fashion scene. Amongst them are Tetsu Nishiyama from WTAPS, Yuichi Yoshii of MR. GENTLEMAN and THE CONTEMPORARY FIX fame, UNITED ARROWS & SONS’ Motofumi Kogi, and musician and AMBUSH designer VERBAL. NIGO himself has selected some of his favorite pieces from this season which include a duffel coat, Rider’s jacket, denim pants, sweatshirts and caps. Sticking with the consistent mix of retro Americana and modern styling, the brand continues to draw people’s attention with its intricate detailing, use of materials and classic designs.
