Proving once again that it’s not just another brand churning out 5-panels, MOUPIA returns for Holiday 2012 with a new collection and lookbook. The Spanish label has already garnered a reputation for quality, handmade patterned hats for just about every taste and its inclusive selection extends even further this season to 6-panels and Baby MOUPIA, top-notch headwear for the little ones. As always, MOUPIA’s modus operandi of limited numbers, artisanal craftsmanship and high-quality fabrics applies to every cap, as does its whimsical selection of prints — a colorful array of flora and fauna, sports and airplane motifs all feature among this season’s offerings. For Holiday 2012, the label turned to photographer Antonio Tabernero for a lookbook shot on location at vintage bars in old Madrid — where tapas and plenty of red wine were at hand — and at a market where the city’s housewives often gather.
