Les Ateliers Ruby has just debuted its latest project, teaming up with Alpine, the racing outfit of parent company Renault, on a special helmet. Celebrating the recent Renault Alpine A110/50 concept which we covered here, the helmet is a replica of the same helmet used by former Renault rally driver Jean Ragnotti while testing the concept. The helmet features a vibrant blue and orange paint scheme with a black visor and a rich, padded leather lining. Just eight of these special helmets have been produced and each one comes packaged with a book about the concept signed by Renault designer Laurens van den Acker and Les Ateliers Ruby founder Jerome Coste. In addition to the special helmet, Les Ateliers Ruby will also be releasing a miniaturized version of its Castel helmet to serve as a paperweight or display piece. The Alpine x Les Ateliers Ruby helmet is available at the Ateliers Renault store in Paris while the mini Castel helmet can be found at both the Ateliers Renault store and Parisian boutique colette.
