Brian Firenzi and Maria Carmen satirically attempt to answer the question many of us music aficionados have been asking for some years now: “Why doesn’t MTV play music videos anymore?” The mock interview sees ‘Natalie,’ a concerned MTV viewer in her mid-20s put the question to an MTV executive. To which the exec lays into Natalie and her generation, blaming them for the switch to online viewing on channels such as YouTube. Although this is a comedy sketch, the underlying message will ring true for a lot of us.
